User Experience
The Rotor K2 features two operating modes: Default Mode and Performance Mode.
Default Mode
- Twist Encoder 1 — MIDI Control 1
- Twist Encoder 2 — MIDI Control 2
- Press Encoder 1 — MIDI Control 3
- Press Encoder 2 — MIDI Control 4
- Encoder acceleration provides fine control during slow movements and faster adjustment during quick movements
Performance Mode
- Twist Encoder 1 — MIDI Control 5
- Press and Twist Encoder 1 — MIDI Control 6
- Twist Encoder 2 — MIDI Control 7
- Press and Twist Encoder 2 — MIDI Control 8
- Press Encoder 1 to cycle through three sensitivity levels
- Press Encoder 2 to cycle through three sensitivity levels
Additional Functions
- Hold both encoder buttons for three seconds to switch between Default Mode and Performance Mode
- Hold either encoder button for three seconds to enable or disable the LEDs
- Settings are automatically saved and restored when the controller is powered off
Startup Indicators
- One LED blink indicates Default Mode
- Two LED blinks indicate Performance Mode
